Mixed feelings

I prefer the feel of this silky lotion on the skin, but it doesn't cover facial imperfections like the stick version. While it is much easier to blend than the stick, it has less staying power. The sweet scent is more pleasant, but it sadly it breaks my oily skin out.

The best from alpine to ocean

My kids look like models with stuff on their face AND it works all-day long. Been my favorite alpine AND ocean activity coverage for almost a decade! Along with the stick.

The Environmental Defense Cream is a mineral sunscreen, but it doesn't feel pasty or drying like some of the others (yay!). My skin is very picky, and needs moisture, but will break out with many oil-based kinds. I've been using it daily for over a week with no breakouts. The color blends in nicely, but there may be some transfer if you're not careful. One of the main reasons I tried this product in the first place was for the reduction of plastic containers - good on ya, Avasol.
