This is a bit higher coverage than the other natural tinted SPF options I’ve tried, with no sticky beeswax texture because it’s not a solid. I love that! Application is great and I love the ingredients! Though it’s nearly perfect, I have big pores so it is definitely noticeable I have something on my face. I might try a powder on top to help it blend/stay longer.
Also, more detailed shade charts would be helpful to find a skin tone match! I went with medium, but I think I should have gotten ‘tan’.
I’m a surfer and this product stays on even in the water. The color is also amazing so I wear it as my foundation when I go out on the town. I thought I would be a #2 but that’s too light so I go with the #3. I will be a lifetime user.
I have been using Avasol’s Environmental Defense Cream SPF 30 Tinted mineral sunscreen for approximately ten years now. I appreciate their commitment to clean ingredients. Also, the texture and color is perfect in acting as a light foundation. 01 is a little light for me and 02 is a little dark, so I just mix the two shades :)
I found Avasol several years ago when I was searching for a clean mineral based sunscreen. This product and the sunblock stick are my go-to choices every day.
