Use on your lips and face, and cover any body part that's exposed, like fingers, hands, feet, and necks. The more you apply, the more protection you’ll have.

Unlike conventional, synthetic, chemical-based sunscreens, mineral sunscreens start working the second that you apply them to the skin. Don’t forget to keep the packaging dry since it’s biodegradable.

Pro tip: rubbing it in helps the sunscreen become less opaque!

WOW! Did this also clear up my skin??

I'm always nervous about buying sunblock for my face because my skin is prone to breakouts, but always need something that stays on for long surf sessions. This product came highly recommended from other lady loggers and I was amazed at how smooth it rubbed in and stayed on! I'm fair (but not pale) with freckles and the Medium color was great, washed off easily with a washcloth and my skin actually cleared up!

Ive surfed for over a decade and avasol is the best. It definitely prevents burning until you or the ocean rubs it off. If the sun is strong I’ll keep a tin (theyll provide just ask in order notes) in my wetsuit and reapply after an hour. My face is still pasty white. It’s the only zinc stick that doesn’t make me break out.

Part of my everyday routine

I’ve spent years looking for a face sunscreen like this. I use it for surfing, work, and it’s now just become what I wear instead of makeup. It smells so good, not like any chemicals. It applies nicely and it’s a bonus to have an eco friendly container. Do yourself the favor and start using avasol, you will not regret it

My go to surf stick

This is my go to sunscreen. I spend hours in the water and sun, by the end of the surf session, the sunscreen is still on, I swear by this stuff and won’t go without it. Most importantly it’s ocean friendly and safe for the body, thank you Avasol.

Love this

I use this as makeup and sunscreen for my aging skin. It keeps my skin moist, blends easier than regular makeup, and doesn’t accentuate wrinkles.
